OSRIC - short for Old School Reference and Index Compilation - is a retroclone of 1st edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. It was released in 2006 by Stuart Marshall and Matthew Finch[1][2][3]. The project was based on the Open Gaming Licence.
While overall staying as close to AD&D as possible, OSRIC differs in certain aspects. It doesn't include rules for psionics, Monk or Bard classes, and various numeric values were changed[4].
